Do Women Like Facial Hair?

One question a lot of guys ask me is "Do women like facial hair?" And it's a good question, I mean after all what's the point of growing a beard, mustache or goatee, if women aren't going to like it.

The truth is that some women do like facial hair a lot and others say they hate it... So you can't please everybody.

My general rule of thumb when I'm advising a client about whether or not to rock facial hair is whether or not the facial hair actually makes the guy look cooler than he would look without it.

Most guys facial hair unfortunately makes them look worse, so in most cases I end up telling guys to shave that crap off of their faces.

So if you are considering whether or not to wear facial hair this is what I'd tell you:

First, feel free to experiment. After all, you only live once. Why not find out how you look with some mutton chops or even a full beard. For all you know it could be a great look for you. So grow a beard and then go out and see what kind of reactions you get. Then try shaving it down into a goatee and see how the ladies like that. Remember, the great thing about facial hair is that it isn't permanent.

Second, No matter what kind of facial hair you try make sure to keep it neat. Unless the woman in question is a total deadhead hippy stoner, almost no girl in the world likes a dirty unkept beard. That's just grody. So keep it clean and trim around the edges every day or two to keep it looking cared for.

Third, The question shouldn't really be do women like facial hair, it should be are women ATTRACTED to facial hair. The truth is women say many things that aren't necessarily true. On a concious level a woman may THINK she dislikes facial hair, but she will actually be very attracted to you with a beard... Girls can be funny like that.

So play around with it and see what kind of feedback you get. Personally my girlfriend loves it when I have facial hair, but I find it scratchy and uncomfortable so I generally stay pretty freshly shaven...

Shoes That Attract Women

One little bit of attraction wisdom you hear repeated by just about everyone is the fact that the first thing a woman looks at when she is sizing up a man is his shoes. So, as a guy that wants to attract women it only makes sense to get a pair or two of shoes that attract women...

Now, I can't guarantee that the first thing a woman looks at is a guy's shoes... I've talked to many women about this, because I think it's a really interesting subject, and I've got a lot of different answers. The psychology behind women and shoes is pretty intense, and could fill a book. So I'm gonna skip all that and get down to the nitty-gritty.

Before I begin, I should note that obviously shoes aren't THE most important thing when it comes to attracting and picking up women. But, it is safe to assume that MOST women will take note of your shoes and you'll either get points or lose points depending on what type of kicks you are rockin'.

If you have tight game, you can wear that whackest shoes ever and still do good. That being said though, the right shoes can definitely help you out. In fact, rockin' ILL kicks will get you girls approaching you, complimenting your style and so forth, so I highly recommend wearing cool shoes at all times, except when you are barefoot...

So let's take a look at some shoes that attract women:

Straight-Pimpin' Shoes...
The shoes that are going to get you the most attention possible from women are shoes that very few other men have the balls or dough to wear. These are the kind of shoes that BALLERS wear. Usually these shoes will be made in Italy, and are made out of exotic animals like alligators
or ostriches. Now while these shoes are great for attracting women, there is one big con, the price. Also if you're gonna wear shoes like this you need to match them with some equally smooth gear. Pimpin' shoes go nice with a tailored suit...

Cowboy Boots...
Nothing says I'm a rock and roll badass like a pair of brightly colored cowboy boots. These will get you attention for sure. Now admittedly, these are not MY style at all and I can't imaging them being comfortable. However I know a bunch of guys who swear by Alligator Cowboy Boots
Also, cowboy boots and other types of boots will give you a couple extra inches of height. I'm 6'1" which isn't that tall, but that extra 2 inches I get from wearing my winter boots is really cool because it turn me into a legit tall guy.

Stylish Casual Sneaks...
These are my go to shoes. The best part is that there are a lot of casual sneaks that you can get really, really cheap. Like under 50 bucks so you can buy a bunch of pairs and they will stay looking fresh for a long time. Now a lot of different shoes fall into this catagory. Everything from a simple pair of Chuck Taylors, to Nike SB Dunks, just about any type of Pumas, to "surfer" kicks like Gravis sneakers . If you look around it's pretty amazing how many cool new shoe designs there are out there. I find that the more exotic my casual sneaks the more compliments they get. but I also like to get some "simple" casual sneaks like navy blue Jack Purcells.
They look sweet with jeans...

Shoes To Avoid:
I should also note that there are some shoes that can make you look pretty uncool. In most cases anything dirty or in really bad condition is going to make you look like a slob. A pair of dirty old white athletic shoes for instance just shoes that you give no thought to how you present yourself. Here are a couple more examples of bad shoes:

Boring Loafers...
The corporate look is not hot! Sure, some corporate chicks may like a buttoned down, loafer wearing, wire rimmed glasses look on a dude... but... barf. Don't do it! Ditto for khaki pants, and standard polo shirts.

Athletic Shoes...
I work out a lot, and I love athletic shoes. But they are really best left in the gym. I'll admit, that they are super comfy, and I do wear them out and about, but I readily admit that they aren't doing me any favors...

So, hopefully this has helped you to understand about wearing shoes that attract women.

Alright, talk soon...
